About The Sultan of Copper

We bring handmade copper from Turkey to the UK: things to brew, serve and wear.

Copper has been worked by hand in Turkey for centuries. Coppersmiths still hammer teapots, coffee pots and trays one at a time, and in towns like Erzincan, lids and bowls are decorated line by line with a steel point. We work with small makers there, and every piece we sell is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

Alongside the kitchenware we sell copper jewellery, including cuffs and sets with zultanite, a gemstone found only in the mountains of Anatolia, and a small range of gold-tone stainless steel cuffs for everyday wear.
