Privacy

We collect only what we need to send your order, and we don't use cookies or tracking on this site.

Who we are

This site is run by The Sultan of Copper. Contact us with any privacy question.

Browsing this site

We don't set cookies and don't use analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for 14 days to keep the site secure, then deletes them.

When you buy

Payments are handled by Stripe or Etsy; we never see your full card details. They pass us your name, delivery address, email address and what you ordered, which we use to send your order and to contact you about it. We keep order records for 6 years because UK tax law requires it. Stripe's and Etsy's own privacy policies cover how they handle your data.

We don't sell your information or send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
